Tower Map

Network Survey includes an interactive map showing cellular towers and your current location. The tower map helps visualize network coverage and identify cell tower locations.

Accessing the Map

While on the cellular details screen, tap the Map icon in the top right corner. Requires location permission and internet connection.

Map Features

Your Location

Section titled “Your Location”
  • Blue dot - Your current GPS position
  • Updates in real-time as you move
  • Accuracy circle shows GPS uncertainty

Cellular Towers

Section titled “Cellular Towers”
  • Tower markers - Cell tower locations from OpenCelliD or BTSearch (Poland only)
  • Tap marker - View tower details

Serving Cell

Section titled “Serving Cell”
  • Highlighted marker - Your connected cell tower
  • Connection line - Line from your location to serving tower

OpenCelliD Integration

Section titled “OpenCelliD Integration”

Tower locations come from the OpenCelliD crowdsourced database, and the BTSearch database (Poland Only). Accuracy varies by region. Upload your survey data to improve database accuracy.

Filter towers using the filter button on the bottom bar.
