Tower Map Preferences
Tower Map Preferences allow you to customize how the tower map displays and behaves.
Accessing Preferences
Section titled “Accessing Preferences”Open the Tower Map and tap the Settings icon, or navigate to Settings → Tower Map Preferences from the main menu.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Keep Tower Map Screen On
Section titled “Keep Tower Map Screen On”Toggle: Enable/Disable
When enabled, the screen will stay on while viewing the Tower Map, preventing the screen from turning off.
Show Zoom Controls
Section titled “Show Zoom Controls”Toggle: Enable/Disable
When enabled, zoom in/out buttons are displayed on the map interface for manual zoom control.
Use case: Enable if you prefer on-screen buttons over pinch-to-zoom gestures.
Serving Cell Coverage
Section titled “Serving Cell Coverage”Display Serving Cell Coverage
Section titled “Display Serving Cell Coverage”Toggle: Enable/Disable
When enabled, the serving cell coverage area will be displayed on the map as a circle, representing the estimated coverage area of the cell tower you’re currently connected to.
Use case: Visualize your current cellular connection’s coverage area.
Coverage Circle Color
Section titled “Coverage Circle Color”Options: Default (Blue) or custom color picker
Choose the color used to draw the serving cell coverage circle on the map.
Coverage Circle Fill Opacity
Section titled “Coverage Circle Fill Opacity”Slider: 0% to 100%
Use case: Lower opacity allows you to see map details underneath the coverage area while still visualizing coverage boundaries.
